Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask you if anyone has experience of using the C2MAN command to write a ROM in the C2 memories and allow it to start when turned on, I see that there are already some ROMs inserted by default, but I use it on MSX1 and these are all for MSX2. Thank you! TO.
Hi, the operation is not complex, if you have an MSX1, you must use the C2MAN40.EXE utility, this is specially designed for the MSX1. Once the utility has been started you just have to follow the instructions that appear on the screen. If you want to add a ROM you must select option 1 - write new ROM image into FlashROM. And follow the directions given to you. At least for the version I have in my possession I am asked which ROM to FLASH, whether we want to keep the name or change it, and at least in my experience what type of ROM we are flashing (I usually leave all the default settings) . Confirm everything and the flash is executed, otherwise you will receive notifications. Now just restart your MSX and you will find your ROM in the start menu.

Just because the msx1 only has 40 columns and therefore the graphical interface will change. Thank you! Until the next question 😎
