Meeting and Social Lunch – Brusaporto Retrocomputing, November 2, 2025
What an amazing day today at Brusaporto Retrocomputing for our gathering and social lunch!
A total of 15 members gathered at our stand for the event, some of whom were also working at nearby stations, once again confirming the passion and constant growth of our community.
16 people attended the social lunch, hosted at the Adamante restaurant, including Paul Besser The editor of Zzap!. The convivial gathering was a success from every perspective, thanks to a rich and tasty menu: an excellent first course of strozzapreti with wild boar ragù, followed by pork fillet with green peppercorns, a side dish, and plenty of wine!
The event was attended by Max Privrat, Antonello Carlomagno, Alfio Antonino Corsaro, Fabio Brianese, Orazio Cacciola, Marco Casali, Marco Rossin, Ivan Michelucci, Gianluca Lazzari, Stefano Roperto, Pierangelo Di Palma, Antonello Carlomagno, Luca Bortoluzzi, Leonardo Vettori, Federico Gori, and Fausto di Salvo, who presented a lot of truly unique hardware, including:

- two Spectravideo with duck station

- an SX2 FPGA
- a Panasonic MSX2+
- a MSX2 NMS8280 and NMS8245 Philips
There was no shortage of peripherals in abundance, as if there were no tomorrow:
MFR, Rookie Drive, Flah Jacks, and above all the Wondertang made in Italy by Ivan Michelucci, which was officially presented — soon available on our channel.
During the day, our fanzine, MSX Italia Magazine, was also presented to the public and distributed free of charge to members.
Another exciting moment was the presentation of the super game "Pirates," reserved for members, created by Orazio Cacciola. We will soon publish the video on our channel.
Finally, we had the honor of meeting a true MSX programming pro from the 1980s, Paolo Vantafridda, who worked for Philips and revealed some behind-the-scenes insights into the Microsoft MSX world of the time. It also looks like he's about to unearth a real treasure from his attic... this interview will also be published on our channel soon.
