For those who want to hurt themselves a little here is another method
From the command line, if you run openmsx.exe -h , we are given all the information on the commands to use.
We will need the parameters:
-ext to load extensions and command
-machine to load the machine bios
-diska to select the game disc
Let's start from the version with fewer parameters, therefore a machine with floppy included:
1) Find the name of the machine to use, this can be found in the openmsx-19.1\share\machines folder
2) Once we have found the name of the machine to insert as a parameter we can execute the following command:
openmsx.exe -machine Philips_NMS_8245 -diska DOS1_the-castel.dsk
If we do not select a machine with floppy included we must perform the following steps:
1) Find the name of the machine to use, this can be found in the openmsx-19.1\share\machines folder
2) Find the name of the extension to use, this can be found in the openmsx-19.1\share\extensions folder
3) Once we have found the name of the machine to insert as a parameter we can execute the following command:
openmsx.exe -ext Panasonic_FS-FD1A -machine Canon_V-20_JP -diska DOS1_the-castel.dsk
