I would like to make a game similar to SuperRunner for MSX2.
I was wondering if I can use the same gameplay and sprites, while for the level graphics I would like to create new or slightly similar ones.

Super Runner is produced by the company Pony Canyon JP that still exists, I advise you not to do it the same and to modify as much as possible, sound, sprites, fonts, to preserve first of all your efforts, even if I don't think the owner of the rights cares about this game... If they wake up they could ask you to delete your creation and not to distribute it, you would have done a useless job, if you have time, desire and ability try your hand at an MSXDEV game and stick to their regulations as guidelines.
