Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask you if any of you have experience using dsk files with carnivore2?

Hi, I use SofaRun 8. You boot the dsks as if they were roms.

@brogellinicola1971 Yes, it's also very easy (SofaRun): For disk files and roms, you can change settings such as starting the rom or disk file at 50/60 Hz, simulating the SHIFT key for disk, etc. ๐Ÿ˜€

HI @brogellinicola1971 you can also use Nextor2's MAPDRIVE tool https://github.com/Konamiman/Nextor/blob/v2.1/docs/Nextor%202.1%20User%20Manual.md#38-mounting-files

To mount the .dsk image files and assign them a Drive letter, as explained in the link above.

For example, you have a file on disk A: called TOOLS.DSK and you want to mount it on virtual disk B:

MAPDRV B: TOOLS.DSK

I don't know if it's also possible from other MSXDOS.

Sofarun is excellent, so is MultiMente MM, but doing it from the command line is also possible. Maybe it's possible to do it in other ways too, which I don't know about.

HI!

TO.
